Catching On

So I think I'm finally catching on at work. Although a patient I started working with has stopped showing up for some reason (ugh), everything else is going well. My cooworkers are really excited about the awesome new database I created for us to be able to keep track of patients, and I'm FINALLY getting a bit of a hold on the paperwork involved in all of this. Oh, the bureaucracy!! It's gloriously complex and wasteful of paper. Hopefully that will change, even just a smidgen, with emergency medical records, which I am, to my colleagues confusion, extremely psyched about. Like, omfg can't WAIT!

The weekend was nice--I met up with some friend(s) from high school Saturday night, as well as getting to stop by my sister's apartment and chat with her for a bit, which is a nice and interesting change. It's been a while since I've been in the same place as one of my siblings who isn't under 5, and it's been cool to see her a little more frequently. I'm also going to see "Where The Wild Things Are" with her tonight. Yay for belated childhood!! Hopefully it will be enjoyable.
